INIU links rugged power banks to a Strava challenge
The campaign runs from October 12 through November 11, and tracked minutes can add up across multiple outings. Participants who reach 100 minutes of outdoor activity on Strava receive a one-time 25% discount code for the Rugged Series and an entry in a prize giveaway.
INIU announced its outdoor-energy line on October 10, 2026. It includes the Rugged 10000 and Rugged 20000, alongside a separately sold Solar Panel 28W. The Rugged 10000 went on sale October 9 for $54.99. The larger Rugged 20000 is due November 1 for $76.99. In its official launch announcement, INIU said the 10000 was available through Amazon and its own store.
INIU says its SmartProtect technology provides 18 levels of protection against electrical, temperature-related and charging risks.
Two batteries for different loads
The Rugged 10000 packs 10,000mAh into a 6.9-ounce body measuring 3.6 by 2.3 by 1.1 inches. Its two USB-C ports can charge up to two devices, with charging up to 45 watts. INIU says it can charge an iPhone 17 to 63% in 30 minutes and provide about 1.7 full charges for that phone.
For longer trips or higher-power gear, the Rugged 20000 offers 20,000mAh and up to 65-watt charging. It has three ports: two USB-C and one USB-A. The power bank weighs 12.5 ounces and measures 4.3 by 2.9 by 1.1 inches. INIU says its capacity provides about three iPhone 17 Pro charges or 80% of a charge for a 13-inch MacBook Air.
According to the supplied product information, both models are IP67-rated when the port cover is closed. They are drop-tested from 3.9 feet (1.2 meters) to MIL-STD-810G. Their silicone-armored bodies include a flashlight and a detachable carabiner. Each also has a standard 1/4-inch-20 tripod thread. Independent coverage says the flashlight has standard and red-light modes. Each power bank comes with a five-year warranty.
INIU has also named the American Hiking Society its official outdoor power partner, linking the launch to a hiking community beyond the Strava challenge.
Solar charging and challenge details
The separate Solar Panel 28W costs $79.99 and weighs 450 grams. It folds down from 26.4 by 11.0 inches to 6.2 by 11.0 inches, with a stated solar charging efficiency of at least 25.8%. INIU says pairing it with the Rugged 20000 can keep gear powered off-grid for up to three days. The power banks and panel are airline-approved.
The Strava challenge sets a 100-minute threshold for tracked outdoor activity during the campaign; the minutes do not need to come from one long workout. Meeting the target unlocks the discount code and an entry in the Rugged Prize Pool Giveaway. The prize pool includes a Rugged 10000 and a Rugged 20000. A winner may also choose a power bank bundled with the Solar Panel 28W. Stated values range from $139.98 to $159.98.
The Rugged Series comes in six power-bank colorways, including three camouflage patterns. INIU says Amazon and iniushop.com will sell the power banks. The company also plans to sell them through Target. PhoneArena's retail availability report lists Target as a seller of the Rugged 10000.
