Readers should be able to distinguish facts from opinion, independent editorial work from commercial material, and company claims from independently established information.
Accountability
Verified factual errors should be corrected. Significant changes in the underlying facts may result in clarifications or updates.
Proportionality
The strength of a claim should reflect the strength of the available evidence.
Editorial Independence
Editorial staff should not promise favorable independent coverage in exchange for payment, advertising, product access, gifts, or other benefits.
Paid visibility does not determine editorial ranking position.
Accuracy and Context
NerdsMagazine aims to distinguish what is known from what is claimed, interpreted, inferred, or still uncertain. Headlines and summaries should accurately reflect the substance of the article rather than exaggerate uncertainty, risk, performance, or controversy.
Fairness
- do not misrepresent sources;
- provide relevant context;
- distinguish criticism from unsupported allegation;
- avoid unnecessary harm;
- consider meaningful responses when serious claims concern an identifiable organization or person.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors and editors should disclose relevant financial, commercial, professional, or personal interests that could reasonably affect how readers interpret their work. Gifts, product access, trial accounts, review units, travel, or event access must not determine editorial conclusions.
Sourcing Standards
NerdsMagazine prefers named, on-the-record sources and primary documentation where practical. Unnamed sources are used rarely and should not be used casually for unsupported allegations, personal attacks, competitor attacks, routine promotional claims, or speculation presented as fact.

Reviews, Rankings and Recommendations
Reviews, comparisons, and rankings may combine documented facts with editorial judgment. Paid relationships do not determine independent ranking positions, scores, review conclusions, or recommendations.

Advertising and Sponsored Content
NerdsMagazine uses advertising, including Google AdSense, and may consider clearly labeled sponsored or partner content. Commercial content should be distinguishable from independent editorial work.
Sensitive Technology Topics
NerdsMagazine is primarily a technology publication, but technology coverage can involve cybersecurity, privacy, account security, data loss, financial consequences, legal implications, or safety. Claims in these areas should be proportionate to the evidence and avoid unsupported guarantees.
Images, Data and AI-Assisted Visual Work
Images should not mislead readers about what actually happened, what a product looks like, or what evidence exists.
