The deal's deadline has shifted. PCMag's deal listing gave an earlier end date of Oct. 11. A later New Atlas listing said Oct. 15 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Check the seller's page for current terms.
Users can submit one prompt and compare responses side by side. The available services include ChatGPT and Claude, along with Gemini and DeepSeek. Llama and Perplexity are also listed. ChatGPT has been presented for specialized financial work in an earlier report.
New Atlas reports that the service works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox and allows sign-in from an unlimited number of desktop devices. The offer described there does not include built-in internet search.
One workspace for chats and files
ChatPlayground also handles questions about uploaded PDFs and images. Users can refine prompts, generate AI images and return to earlier conversations through saved chat history.
The plan is promoted as including unlimited monthly messages under a fair-use policy. It also promises priority customer support. Subscribers are offered early access to feature updates and future models.
But StackSocial's plan details list a limit of 500 messages per month. The seller names GPT-4o among the available models. Gemini 1.5 Flash and DeepSeek V3 are also listed, though the current lineup may change.
A lifetime subscription depends on ChatPlayground continuing to operate. If the company closes or ends the service, the purchased access may no longer be usable.
