Warner Brothers releases DC Justice League Trailer And More At SDCC

Both DC and Marvel made quite a splash at Comic-Con 2016, releasing  a variety of exciting trailers of upcoming movies and TV shows. Apart from that, we were also treated to several panels and announcements about future movie updates and casting news from the superhero cinematic universe. From Marvel, we saw the latest from movies such as Thor: Ragnarok, Spiderman: Homecoming, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and a host of Marvel-Netflix TV shows.

Now let’s have a look at five of the most breathtaking trailers released by DC and Warner Bros at the San Diego Comic-Con:

Wonder Woman- releases June 2017

This is my favorite trailer to have been shown at Comic-Con. Nothing is more kickass than watching the splendid Gal Gadot in all her Amazonian swashbuckling glory as the iconic Wonder Woman. It is always fantastic to see a hard as nails female in the lead whooping everyone’s collective ass, and from what we see in the trailer, the movie premise is set during World War 1 (hinted first in BatmanvSuperman: Dawn of Justice).

And this is the reason why DC will always be better than Marvel (according to me). Everyone knows who Wonder Woman is and right from the start, we have a movie for one of the most important members of the Justice League. Compare that with Marvel, which has the Black Widow as a sidekick. Hope things change with Brie Larson in her role as Captain Marvel.

Justice League- releases November 2017

According to DC, this is not exactly a trailer but just a montage of special footage for Comic Con. Honestly, this does seem to be a great trailer which does a superb job of hyping up the Justice League movie. We see a lot of Ben Affleck in the trailer, who is determined to set up the best possible team to stave off foreboding evil, along with the Flash, Cyborg and the insane-looking Jason Momoa as Aqua-Man.

This also looks way more fun and exciting than BatmanvSuperman, which people agreed was too dark and gloomy. Can hardly wait for next year!

Suicide Squad- releases August 5, 2016

Just a week away from its release, we have another amazing trailer for Suicide Squad that shows our deliciously bad gang in action.

Kong: Skull Island- releases March 2017

After Peter Jackson’s epic adventure King Kong (2005), we have another reboot with director Jordan Vogt-Roberts at the helm. The movie is intended to be the second instalment in Legendary’s Godzilla-Kong film series (I can hardly wait for a King Kong-Godzilla movie.

If it also features Mothra and King Ghidorah, the movie would be the granddaddy of all monster movies ever made). Kong: Skull Island features A-listers such as Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and the premise is slightly different though overall similar to the original 1933 movie.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them- releases November 19, 2016

The massively popular Harry Potter franchise is still going strong and for aficionados eager for an update on the latest movie in the series, we have another magnificent trailer for Fantastic Beasts, in which Newt Scamander, played by the formidable Eddie Redmayne, is out looking for those beasts who have escaped from his magical briefcase.

With magic, wands, mythical creatures, and one of the strongest fan following in recent history, this movie is one of the most highly anticipated of the year.
