Top Sports Video Games for Android Users

The Play Store isn’t always the easiest place to find new games, as it tends to suggest the same titles often. The best Android video games and sports betting apps available for download can be difficult to find, but we are here to help.

Of course, betting apps such as PlayUp cater to those players who want to take their love of gaming to the next level and potentially win some money on their favorite sports betting markets, like soccer, cricket or the NBA.

But for those who are video game fans, Android’s Play Store has some exciting titles that are both new and old. From car racing games to thrilling adventures, here are the top Android sports games you can play.

1. Perfect Grind

Noodlecake is a reputable game publisher that has released several critically acclaimed titles such as Alto’s Adventure and Lumino City. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Perfect Grind, a highly engaging skateboarding game, is one of the studio’s most recent offerings. Since this is a mobile release, everything is optimized for touch controls, and there is a wide range of customisation options for both your character and the board.

Moreover, the controls have a wonderful feel, allowing even novices to pull off some impressive tricks. Perfect Grind is a great alternative if you’re a skateboarding game enthusiast in search of a fresh fix. Stay skating!

2. Rocket League Sideswipe

Psyonix made a 2D plane version of Rocket League that is played in a side-scrolling style, and it holds up very well! The game is completely free to play, and it features both touchscreen and traditional controller support for precise movement and action. If you want to get good fast, get a controller. But for casual play, the touch controls are fine.

Like the older console version, the mobile game is a must-play for any lover of the original. You won’t have to wait long for a match thanks to the efficient matchmaking and a wide variety of popular game styles like 3v3.

Hopefully, Rocket League Sideswipe will remain ad-free and distraction-free for the foreseeable future, but we doubt it. This is as excellent as it gets for a side-scrolling adaptation of the core game, and the gameplay benefits hugely from this.

3. Grand Mountain Adventure

Even though winter sports games aren’t as popular as they once were on consoles, Grand Mountain Adventure from Toppluva AB is a fantastic winter sports game for Android mobile devices. To begin, the visuals are spot-on for the kind, with snow that looks realistic. Skiing and snowboarding are still the main draws, and they are super fun to play.

It will take a few minutes to adjust to the camera being in front of your playable avatar, but once you do, you’ll be ready to hit the slopes in search of a Yeti. There are hundreds of challenges to complete as you enjoy the different backgrounds of the game across seven mountains. You can play the game for free, however, you’ll have to make some in-app purchases if you want even more features.

4. OK Golf

OK Golf has low-poly graphics, a relaxing soundtrack, and entertaining gameplay that make it a great choice for just about any mobile device. Since there are no clubs to worry about, launching your ball is given center stage in the game’s straightforward controls, which are reminiscent of a slingshot.

While the game isn’t as realistic as an actual golf match, it has made its concept simple and easy to learn. Anybody can pick it up and start playing right away.

There are no in-app purchases or adverts in the premium edition. You get a pleasant mini golf game that can be enjoyed in quick bursts or stretched out over extended playtimes. We strongly advise giving OK Golf a try if you haven’t already.

5. GRID Autosport

As far as Android racing games go, GRID Autosport is up there with the finest of them. Thanks to Feral Interactive, a great racing game that was previously only playable on PC and consoles is now accessible via mobile devices.

The port is incredible, the Touch controls are responsive, and the game is compatible with traditional controllers. Moreover, there is a great deal of content; the primary story alone should keep most gamers occupied for hours.

It’s lacking only internet play, which is currently being tested. Three of the game’s courses can be played for free in the demo. If you appreciate the free version and want more, you can upgrade to the premium version by buying individual add-ons. This racing game fills a niche between traditional arcade racing and realistic simulations.
