Live A Radiant Life With Radiant Church

Finding the right church is key for a person because it will feel like a second family. A person has a place to worship with other people who share the same core beliefs and values by belonging to a church. A good church will enhance a person’s life and help fulfill them emotionally and spiritually. One church that could be a good match for those in Florida and people who want to join an online church family is Radiant Church.

The Purpose of Radiant Church

Radiant Church exists to help people move from where they currently are to where God wants them to be. This church aims to move people towards Christ, move people towards being involved in a community, and move people towards their calling from God. Learn more by visiting the website

The Next Steps Towards God’s Calling

How does Radiant Church move people towards their calling from God? One of the Radiant goals is to give people the information and tools they need to purposely move towards their calling. Two unique classes are offered that will help people take the next step in their journeys.

Step one is for people to participate in a class called DNA. In this class, a person will learn about the skills and strengths that help make up who they are. Some of the traits that will be considered are dominance, decisiveness, influence, inspiration, supportiveness, conscientiousness, and more. Once a person understands the areas they excel in, they can then turn that knowledge into useful information that will guide them in helping others in a way that suits their personality DNA.

Using Strengths to Serve

Step two is figuring out how those strengths and God-given gifts will work in placing a person on Radiant’s Dream Team. The Dream Team class will cover ways to use their gifts to serve God and the community. A person can use their gifts in many ways, and this second-class pairs people with leaders like themselves who share the same gifts and passions.

Opportunities for serving may include:

  • Teaching Radiant kids
  • Serving at the information desk
  • Offering creative services
  • Working in the military ministry area
  • Financial service team
  • Prayer team
  • Church setup opportunities
  • Teardown services
  • Parking staff
  • Safety and security
  • Radiant first responders
  • Feeding those in need
  • Musical worship
  • Ushering services
  • People greeters
  • Production services
  • Administration and office staff
  • Host team
  • Small group leadership

Radiant Church Locations

There are five Radiant locations throughout Florida. People can find radiant Church locations in South Tampa, Heights, Saint Petersburg, Brandon, and North Tampa. Those who live too far away to make it to a brick-and-mortar location can workshop with the Radiant family online. Attending services online also works for those in quarantine or physically unable to leave their home due to an illness or disability.

Online Church Offerings and Times

Those who wish to attend online can tune in on Sundays at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 5 p.m., and/or 7 p.m. Those who want to participate in the online Next Steps classes can do so at either 10:30 a.m. or noon. Are online services just as good as in-person services? Absolutely!

The Radiant Online Campus is a friendly and supportive community of people aiming to move from where they currently are in their lives to where God wants them to be. This is just done in a virtual environment instead of in person. The online campus uses tools to help members grow in their relationship with Christ while connecting with the Radiant community. Sarah Bothe leads the online services.

Online services are interactive. Through the internet, a person can enjoy and grow with a virtual church experience. Through the Radiant Online Campus, members will find a place to connect and grow with other members. A person can receive a live prayer. They can engage in live dynamic worship. They will hear life-changing messages and so much more. They will leave their online service feeling inspired and radiant.

Optional Church Groups

Something special about this church is that they have Radiant groups for everybody. All that is asked of people is that they show up to the meeting and participate if they sign up and join a group. It’s that simple! Some of the groups offered include:

  • Desiring God
  • Admin Team
  • High school groups
  • Middle school groups
  • Furry Friends Fellowship
  • Leaders and Lattes
  • Jibin’ with James
  • Picturing God’s Creation
  • The Well
  • Usher Group

Radiant Church offers groups for anyone and everyone. People can belong to one group at a time, and there are many additional groups that are not listed above. If someone has an interest that is not covered, there may be an opportunity for a new group to be created.

How Radiant Church Came to Be What it is Today

How did this wonderful church come to be? In 2013 Katie and Pastor Aaron Burke moved to Tampa with a clear vision from God, calling for them to create a life-giving church that would completely transform the community. The two built a team and raised funds to launch Radiant Church. It took nine months, but on September 15th, 2013, 348 people attended the first public Radiant Church Sunday service.

Over the years, Radiant Church has grown from one location to five brick-and-mortar locations and one online church. Through Radiant Church, Katie and Pastor Aaron have seen God do “immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20). Radiant Church has grown and continued to grow while keeping the mission of reaching unchurched people in and around the Tampa Bay area. Pastor Aaron believes that God has amazing plans for the church’s future and hopes that those reading this catch the vision and join the church family in their mission to reach the world.
