4 days ago my Bigpond disappeared along with my Folders and Sent “boxes: which have all my client, suppliers and accounts emails. Yesterday after hours with Bigoponf techs it appeared at 150 when i logged in then disappeared at 1630. There was no previous problems and no notification from Bigpond or Telstra. What are the Bigpond numbers to call for CS Suppoert or Tech Support. This is appalling lack of service after some 20 years of near perfection.
Help or advise anybody please .
I have the same problem as Ralph. Telstra said its an issue their end with some users. It seems to have been going on for a couple of weeks so they don’t seem too committed to fixing the problem. apparently Bigpond is being phased out so its probably time to get a new email account.
I Have tried three different Browsers, and with each one I still get thr timeout message. I also have disabled my addon security, and gone to the lowest level on my Browser History page. Nothing makes any difference. I still get the Timeout message.
I do note, that any box I have with only a few files in it will open. ie. Junk Drafts, and Archive. Less than 10 emails in each box. However larger ones such as Set and inbox time out every time. I have used bigpond for well over twenty years. This is the worst outage I have had in that time.
In the old days. 1990s I used to have both optunet and bigpond to have a reliable service for my business. Is it now time to get a second browser again? In this day and age we need a reliable email service more than ever.
