Clinically tested
To ensure the effectiveness of Basis, Elysium Health put the supplement through a clinical trial in 2016. The study took 120 people and divided them into three equal groups. Group one took two capsules of Basis, which is the recommended daily dose of the supplement. Group two took four capsules of the supplement, which is double the recommended daily dose of Basis. Group three took a placebo.
The trial demonstrated that taking the recommended daily dose of Basis over the course of several weeks increased and sustained levels of NAD+ by an average of 40 percent.
