What Are Some Upcoming Simulator Games?

Are you an avid simulator game fan? If so, you should be happy because there are quite a few great titles coming later this year as well as early in 2022. Let’s take a look at some simulator games you can expect to play in the future.

Farming Simulator 22

The first game on the list is the upcoming ninth installment from the developers GIANTS Software. The franchise started in 2012, and the fans can rejoice knowing that the latest version of Farming Simulator is just around the corner.

You can already find dedicated websites that promote Farming Simulator 22 Mods to add extra and improve the player experience even more.

Veteran players can expect new and improved gameplay, whereas someone new will get to discover what Farming Simulator is like and decide for themselves whether they want to continue playing the game or not.

Icarus

Since the video game is named after a mythological figure, one would think that it should revolve around similar themes. However, the simulator allows players to start an adventure on a faraway planet where they can explore the wonders of space and perform various tasks. The game is based on survival, another gimmick that has been quite popular in the most recent video games.

Euro Coach Simulator

The name pretty much gives away what the game is about. SCS Software is the developer behind the title. Your journey starts as a coach driver, but the game does not end with just driving around customers to make money and unlock new coaches. No, you can also rise to the top and become an owner of a prominent transport business.

The Sims 5

It is actually surprising that EA took this long to announce The Sims 5. The fourth installment was released in 2014, and fans were beginning to get anxious due to the lack of information.

Thankfully, the developers revealed that we can expect a new Sims game, though the date is yet to be announced.

And while there is not that much info about the game itself, the odds of it using the same successful formula with some improvements here and there is the likeliest outcome. After all, the franchise is so successful, and making significant changes would not be a sound strategy, right?

Alaskan Truck Simulator

There was Euro Truck Simulator where you work as a driver and travel across the continent to deliver goods and move your way up the ladder. Well, what if there was a similar but different version of such a game?

Alaskan Truck Simulator could be just the thing to add that extra bit of spice to your average truck simulator. Since the game takes place in Alaska, it is natural to assume that players will need to drive in a harsher environment. Besides the usual, you can enjoy survival elements in this upcoming title from Movie Games.

UBOAT

It is no surprise that the developer company that calls itself Deep Water Studio is releasing an open world submarine simulator.

When you look at the available simulator games, submarines are not something that common. If you have been itching to go underwater and explore the depths of the sea, UBOAT sounds like the game for you. It is also worth noting that the in-game events you encounter are based on real life.

Raft

The pattern of adding survival elements in simulator games is quite obvious. Raft is another example of such a combination.

Players end up drifting at sea with one goal — survival. The game revolves around gathering materials and crafting items that upgrade the raft. And with aggressive marine life in your way, survival may not be as easy as one might think.

The game is set to be released in July 2021, and it is one of the most anticipated video games among simulator and survival enthusiasts.

My Winter Car

If you are a car enthusiast but have no money to purchase old models and renovate them yourself, My Winter Car should scratch that itch. The gameplay is pretty simple since players have to customize various vehicles to their liking. And since the game takes place in winter, we can also expect the season to affect some of the gameplay.

Kerbal Space Program 2

That’s right; there is a second installment in the critically-acclaimed Kerbal Space Program video game. The title will come out in 2022, so the available information about it is still pretty lackluster.

However, the developers revealed that players could expect even more depth in the gameplay that will let us discover more about the space. If there is one simulator game you should keep an eye on, it is Kerbal Space Program 2.
