Let’s Talk About The Bisexual Threesome – Why Is It Usually FFM?

The bisexual threesome in porn videos often cater to the straight male gaze – does this have anything to do with the idea that bisexual men are considered “too gay” or is it just a popular personal preference?

Gay porn exists, and plenty of it. But bisexual porn? That’s a much rarer commodity. Rare, that is, if you don’t count the hundreds of thousands of videos of two women with one man.

But what about the bisexual men of the world? Why is there such a disproportion of two male one female porn videos?

The invisible bias that no one talks about

It’s no secret that the representation of bisexuals in the media today is way out of balance. There are very few films starting with bisexuals of any gender. And when they are portrayed, they are often viewed as being indecisive or dangerous.

Some might argue that a bisexual threesome with two females and one male is just hotter and more sensual.

While other disagree and say that the disproportion of male, male-female bisexual threesome videos on porn sites is due to the fact that straight men just can’t tolerate seeing porn that’s “too gay”.

The idea that porn categories should be kept neatly in their respective boxes of sexuality and genre, is an idea that is still popular today.

Not everyone is into bisexual porn and that’s perfectly normal and ok. But if you ask the vast number of bisexuals around the world today, the time has come to put an end to this aversion that so many people have to gender-inclusive bisexual threesome porn videos.

Why some bisexual threesome porn doesn’t sit well with the straight community

The tight grip that the heterosexual male culture has around the head of society today (no pun intended) is finally beginning to loosen. But not quite enough.

The adult entertainment industry makes videos about what people want to see. When there’s a higher demand for a certain style of porn, the industry will follow that demand.

So when it comes down to it, isn’t it only fair that the “majority wins” so to say? That’s what Jeremy, a 30-year-old straight man from Boston, thinks anyway.

When asked if he thought the underrepresentation of male, male, female porn videos was unfair, Jeremy said, “I can see how it would feel unfair to all the bisexual guys out there, but for me personally, I’m not even a little bit gay, so I’m just not interested in watching porn with two guys and one woman.”

But what about the women?

What women have to say about bisexual threesome porn videos

The same way that Jeremy has a right to not be into watching anything with two penises within 1 ft. of each other, straight women also have this right to aversion…right?

Well yes and no. Our culture today has placed us into a space where woman-on-woman porn is “ok” and “normal” to watch, even for straight people.

This is because, like Lisa, a bisexual 27-year-old from New York puts it, “bisexuality in women is often dismissed as being something that won’t last. That bisexual women are really straight, just entertaining hetero men’s fantasies”

Lesbian porn is one of the top categories on porn sites all over the world today. And there’s no mystery as to why. Girl-on-girl porn is hot, for people of all sexual orientations. It’s sensual and erotic and plays into the forbidden fantasies of so many.

But for many women around the world, it’s time to even the porn playing field.

What do we want? A fair and respectful representation of the bisexual threesome

Bisexual pornography is hardly viewed in a manner that gives way for an open discussion on bisexuality. One of the most prominent things that men have failed to realize about bisexual porn is that it exempts women from the discussion due to the fact that men are the ones who are strictly catered for.

Bisexual porn is rarely depicted in a way that allows for an open discussion on bisexuality. What most men fail to realize is that bisexual porn excludes women from the conversation, owing to the fact that it strictly caters to the male gaze.

Female-female pornography is widely regarded as lesbian pornography, not bisexual porn. This is because female bisexuality in mainstream porn media is usually shown as a type of foreplay-something that women do to pleasure themself in the absence of men.

As a result, when female-female porn is shown, it is automatically depicted as lesbian porn, not bisexual porn.  Due to that, it is easier for men to place their pictures than women.

The strict way of defining porn has subconsciously taught us how to express our sexuality in society. People began to learn false concepts about their sexuality at the instant they become conscious of their sexual desires.

Even though this appears a bit insignificant, we must understand why bisexual porn is a major component that hinders the openness of people in the bedroom due to the solitary understanding they have about how a bisexual threesome would work and how they’ve framed all their fantasies based on it.

Of course, everyone has their own unique tastes and this is what makes the porn world the vibrant and delicious state that it is today. But maybe it’s time to open up our minds a bit.

Being a bisexual man doesn’t mean that you’re really, just a gay guy in disguise. And bisexual women should be shown in porn as they truly are, not just morphed into a fantasy for straight men. After all, surprise, women (of all sexual orientations) watch porn too.

Is it really so hard to throw two full penises into some threesome videos? Ehm. Or so people have been asking.

But all jokes aside, the more we start warming up to the idea that bisexuals, both women, and men do exist, the more comfortable and respected they will feel in their own skin, ultimately making this world a better place to live in for all of us.
