Is Amazeowl Better Than Jungle Scout?

Both Amazeowl and Jungle Scout are data-driven, web-based tools to help you conduct market and product research for a profitable product that you can sell on Amazon. And yes, there are pros and cons to each platform, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to finding the right one for you.

Whether you’re already an Amazon Seller, or you’re planning on starting your Amazon Business, you need a good product research tool. And when it comes to adding products in your catalog, it’s all about TIMING. You need a software like Amazeowl or Jungle Scout to do that. Staying up-to-date with the market trends is the #1 secret to finding golden nugget products.

The Amazon market is ridiculously saturated with millions of sellers already selling and thousands of new ones coming in every day. Amazon is getting more and more serious about product quality and customer satisfaction.

Doing all the research by yourself, finding the perfect products, finding manufacturers, researching for keywords, getting your pages ranked, it gets almost impossible to do everything by yourself after a certain point.

So today, I will be doing a side-by-side comparison to help you understand the features and benefits of each software, and then you can decide which one is the right choice for your e-com career.

Global Data Accuracy

Let’s be honest, no one wants to buy a ton of inventory just to have it stored in a loft or a garage somewhere. Data accuracy is one of the top priorities to calculate the profitability of a product. Because, if there’s not enough profit to sustain your e-com business, why would anyone want to do it?

If we compare by numbers, Jungle scout has a data accuracy of 84.1%. Which is HUGE compared to any other platform out there.

With Amazeowl, they have a data accuracy of 61.2%. Still great, since both platforms can give you access to more than 600 million products across 11 marketplaces.

Pricing

Both softwares offer 3 main pricing options. Basic, Standard, and Premium. And you can choose to pay either monthly or annually. Although, generally, all the plans that offer annual payment reduce the monthly fee significantly. So if you have the budget and want to save some money, going with the annual subscription is a better option.

Amazeowl offers a free plan, which gives you restricted access to the software, however, can be useful if you’re new to it and on a lower budget. You won’t get much done, but it’ll be enough to move around and try out a few things.

However, Jungle Scout does offer more features than Amazeowl, their cheapest plan costs the same as Amazeowl’s most expensive plan. And they don’t offer a free trial period. The lowest price you can pay to get access to the Jungle Scout software is $19, that’s their lowest subscription tier. But with the money-back guarantee, you can try out the software with all the features for 14 days, completely risk-free. In my opinion, Jungle Scout sounds like a better option because you can test drive the software with access to almost all the features and decide whether you like it or not.

Compared to Amazeowl where you get free access to the software, but it is so limited that you might not be able to decide whether it is the right choice for you.

Keyword And Competitor Research

Everyone knows the importance of keyword and competitor research. Especially in e-com, you need to keep track of keyword trends and data to ensure you’re adding relevant keywords in your listings to make sure your products are getting relevant traffic coming in.

Amazeowl offers two types of keyword research. One through similar products, and one through similar competitors. Comparing them that way and using their suggestions will give you enough juice to power your products and have them ranked better than anyone on the entire page.

Jungle Scout offers a highly advanced keyword tool called “Keyword Scout”. It finds similar keywords and helps rank them by different criteria. You can even do cross-checks across your competitor listings and the Scout will give you suggestions on which keywords to go after.

Product Tracking and Database

Both softwares offer accuracy in real-time product tracking. Both offer organization options through which you can track and manage your product ideas, sales, inventory, performance, etc.

Based on your previous purchases, the software gives you suggestions on which products you might like to buy next. You can use these suggestions as product ideas that you can further look into.

Customer Support

Since Jungle Scout doesn’t offer a free trial, they have 24/7 priority customer support on all of their paid plans. Even though Amazeowl offers a free trial period, the no-cost customers don’t get the priority customer support. Which is something that can be a huge issue if you ever come across an emergency with your account or the software features.

But in my opinion, you should only use the free tier to see if you like the software. And if you are serious about selling on Amazon, you should definitely get paid access to these products to make sure you have access to all the data you will need to make the right product choices.

Learning Programs

Both softwares have a video series that you can go through to learn how to take advantage of all the features the software has to offer. Jungle Scout’s learning academy comes built-in with all of its subscription plans.

Amazeowl users still need to pay an extra fee to access the course library and its programs. This could be a dealbreaker for some because if you are already paying for a software subscription, you shouldn’t need to pay for their training program as well.

But if you dig deep, with Jungle Scout, there is an 84% chance that the sales estimates (like I mentioned above) are correct. All of that means that you have the odds in your favor that the products you do end up choosing, will yield you a decent amount of profit.

Increasing sales and optimizing your Amazon seller accounts can be found in the training videos of both softwares. They include Amazon FBA learning courses as well to help you understand the costs and fees of FBA.

Opportunity Finder / Hunt For Products

The opportunity finder is by far the most amazing feature that Jungle Scout has. It is impossible for a human to go through a million products before deciding which one will be the right product for them. The amount of time that would take is just absurd. Especially if you don’t know what you want to target. The opportunity finder does the job for you. You just fill in the filters and add your numbers, the algorithm will find the right products for you.

It generates results based on monthly demand, competition, prices, etc and gives you a visual representation of it by a score from 0 to 100. Once you’ve decided on a few selections, it goes inside the product tracker. From there you can decide whether you want to move forward with the product or if you would like to keep looking for more opportunities.

In Amazeowl, they have a similar feature that they call – Hunt For Products. Which is a product database that is updated every day, giving you product suggestions for your next purchase. But with proper research, it does find you some in-demand, high potential product suggestions which can be saved and later used as a reference for final selections.

Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, it depends on how serious you are about your e-com business. If you’re doing it as a side job, playing around and testing the waters, I suggest you try out Amazeowl.

But for the more serious entrepreneurs, looking for a solid business plan who are motivated to scale their ecom business to the moon, Jungle Scout is by far the best option. It may be pricier compared to Amazeowl, and might not offer free access. But it does offer a ton of features that are worth every penny.
