Updates on Playstation 4 Final Fantasy XV, Mass Effect: Andromeda, and Nintendo Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild

Gamers are salivating in glee as an entire range of ‘bigly’ games are set to be released in November. These include Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Mario Party: Star Rush, Dishonored 2, Watch Dogs 2, and the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XV, which will be released after 10 years in development. We have for you the latest updates on the new Final Fantasy game for Playstation 4, as well as news on fan favorite Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild, and upcoming action shooter Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Final Fantasy XV- a Game 10 Years In Making

After nearly a decade of wait and multiple delays, developer and publisher Square Enix will finally release Final Fantasy XV on November 29. As far as pre-reviews are concerned, the game has garnered effusive praise for its characters, engaging story and gameplay, and a thoroughly absorbing world, which combines fantasy and post-industrial modern elements.

You can watch a spoiler-free gameplay of the first 45 minutes of Final Fantasy XV below:

The game premise- you play Prince Noctis – the rebellious 20-year-old heir to the kingdom of Lucis, who is sent away by his father on a diplomatic journey. Accompanying him are his three best friends- Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto, as they venture out on a lengthy quest across a breathtaking fantasy world that has come under the influence of the evil empire of Niflheim.

Square Enix is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that fans deservedly get a phenomenal gaming experience with the latest fantasy epic. The hype train is chugging on like crazy and already a feature length CG film, as well as five episodes of anime and another five-minute short called ‘Omen’ have been released to make us all delirious with excitement.

In other updates, we have also seen a new death spell and a more terrifying version of the Bandersnatch, along with gameplay footage of Moogles. According to Gematsu, the ‘Moogles will serve as four leaf clovers or “dolls” in the players’ stock, giving the players rewards or mend harms incurred amid a fight. The Moogles can likewise go about as an imitation wherein the adversaries will assault them rather than the players. They will acquire the harming hits while the players are allowed to dispatch their assaults on the rivals.’

The Legend of Zelda To Arrive With The Nintendo Switch

Ever since we saw the E3 2016 demo of The Legend of Zelda, nothing much has been revealed about it by Nintendo, except for some new gameplay bits, which you can watch on on YouTube, and the possibility that it may arrive with the Nintendo Switch, apart from the Wii U.

As far as the release is concerned, the game might actually not release alongside the Switch as fans and gaming websites have expressed doubts about performance issues, such as color saturation and an unstable frame rate. That’s the reason why the Nintendo Switch is scheduled for a March 2017 release, but the release date for the game itself is simply given as 2017 as of now.

Mass Effect: Andromeda Might See a Delayed Release In 2017, Says Bioware

Video game developer Bioware has stated that they might push back the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda for the public in 2017. The game is slated to be rolled out during the first quarter of 2017, though EA Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen has said that they are allowing the developers to release the game on their own terms.

This sounds like pretty good news since quality is of utmost importance for users. Consider the case of No Man’s Sky- a game hyped to the hilt and promising delights of cosmic proportions became a damp squib because Hello Games decided to release it in a hurry, without out taking into account the fallout from user reactions.

For now, a new teaser of the game is out that exhorts gamers to join the Andromeda initiative- i.e. exploring the vast nothingness of space and also promotes Bioware’s N7 event, held on November 7 and dubbed as the ‘Mass Effect’ day.

‘The Andromeda Initiative is currently seeking recruits. Registered recruits will be among the first contacted to receive critical mission information, special training opportunities, and will also be eligible for reward upon program completion. Orientation begins Nov. 7,’ says the official page.
