DC Universe to Launch Streaming Service This Fall

Competition to Netflix and Hulu has become even stronger with DC Universe announcing its own streaming service, slated to come online this fall. Probably compelled by competition dynamics (Disney’s streaming service is also expected to launch soon), DC will offer a multitude of animated and live-action content. Robin Says ‘Fuck Batman’ In DC’s Titans

Forget Teen Titans. DC’s live-action Titans features the same set of superheroes, but with a grim and darker take, made explicitly clear as Robin says ‘Fuck Batman’ before proceeding to bash up some street thugs. The trailer introduces us to the eponymous characters of Raven, Dick Grayson (who moonlights as Robin), Beast Boy, and Starfire. This ain’t your proverbial happy-go-lucky show revolving around superheroes but an ostensibly morbid one where characters muse about their darker sides.

Unbreakable and Split Collide in Glass

Move over Marvel and DC, we have the Shyamalan-verse to make the superhero world more interesting. Bringing together the characters from Unbreakable and Split, Glass will see an epic clash between David Dunn (Bruce Willis), the multiple personalities of Kevin Crumb aka The Horde (played by James McAvoy) and the sinister titular character of Mr Glass, played to perfection by Samuel L. Jackson. What machinations will Mr Glass devise to disrupt world peace? We will know once the movie releases on January 18, 2019!
